Is Spanish Coach free?

Yes — Spanish Coach is free to download and includes a solid set of core features. A Spanish Coach Pro subscription unlocks all lessons, advanced content, and offline mode. See the Features page for details.

What devices does Spanish Coach support?

Spanish Coach requires iOS 16.0 or later and runs on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. An Apple Silicon Mac version is also available.

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

An internet connection is required for account sync and some audio content. Spanish Coach Pro subscribers can download lessons for fully offline use.

Which Spanish dialect does the app teach?

By default, Spanish Coach teaches standard Latin American Spanish. You can switch to Castilian (Spain) Spanish in Settings → Dialect.


Account & Sync

How do I sync my progress across devices?

Sign in with the same Apple ID or email address on all your devices. Progress syncs automatically via iCloud.

Can I use Spanish Coach without an account?

Yes — you can continue as a guest. Your progress is saved locally on your device, but it won't sync to other devices and may be lost if you uninstall the app.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data. You can also contact us at support@spanishcoach.app to request account deletion.


Subscriptions & Billing

How do I subscribe to Spanish Coach Pro?

Open the app, go to Settings → Upgrade to Pro, and choose your plan. Payment is processed through your Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Spanish Coach → Cancel Subscription.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes — Spanish Coach Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

Does my subscription work on all my devices?

Yes — one subscription covers all your devices signed into the same Apple ID.


Technical Issues

The app is crashing or not loading — what should I do?

Try these steps in order:

  1. Force-quit the app and reopen it
  2. Check for an app update in the App Store
  3. Restart your device
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app (your progress will restore if you're signed in)

If the problem persists, contact us at support@spanishcoach.app with your device model and iOS version.

My audio isn't working.

Make sure your device is not in silent mode and the volume is turned up. In the app, go to Settings → Audio and confirm audio is enabled. Some audio content requires an internet connection.

I lost my streak — can it be restored?

If you missed a day due to a technical issue, contact support with the date and we'll review your case. Streak freezes are available to Pro subscribers as a safety net.

What data does Spanish Coach collect?
